How to refresh curls with Clever Curl Wonderfoam
Clever Curl Wonderfoam is perfect for refreshing curly hair during the week. Curlys often need to refresh their hair in between washes, especially when only washing once a week.
There are lots of ways to refresh, here are our favourites!
Wet refreshing
Use a spray bottle to wet your hair down. We love continous water spray bottles for curly hair. A spray bottle adds water to the hair without rinsing out the product already in your hair from wash day. This is why we love curly girl, because it means you can reactivate the product already in your hair, saving you money!
You can use a few techniques with a pump or two of Wonderfoam, depending on what your hair needs.
- Scrunching: revives limp curls and brings the bounce back!
- Prayer hands and roping: re-defines curls that have become fluffy or frizzy.
- Wet brushing: for curls that tend to get a bit tangly overnight, use a wet brush to gently detangle and distribute the Wonderfoam through the hair whilst smoothing down frizz.
Why we love Clever Curl Wonderfoam
Wonderfoam is a product with a little bit of hold, so when you refresh with it, you may get a new cast. Let your hair fully dry, then scrunch out the crunch to reveal soft, defined curls again! Wonderfoam also contains plenty of moisture, so use it if your curls feel a bit dry. It is super lightweight and will not weigh down your curls. Because of this, it’s great for all hair types, especially fine and wavy hair.

Quick and easy refresh using Clever Curl Wonderfoam
Clever Curl Wonderfoam is an excellent way to refresh your hair through the week, as it has moisture and hold while still being lightweight.
- Wet your hair using a continuous spray bottle.
- Add one to two pumps of wonderfoam to wet hands. Distribute through your hands, emulsifying until you have a nice creamy consistency.
- Apply to completely wet hair.
- Use a wet brush to distribute the wonderfoam.
- Use prayer hands, gently scrunch ( or don’t scrunch if you want to elongate the curls)
- Let your hair dry after refreshing, and scrunch out any of the cast that’s been reactivated.
Refreshing will help you wash your hair less, while still looking fabulous!
