Learn the Foundations of New Curl Care
All Curly Cuts Classes are built on The Curly Cuts System — our structured, new approach to curl education, designed to help you understand curly hair properly and achieve consistent results. These sessions are designed for personal customer education only and are not intended for hairdressers or professional training.
Our classes are small, look-and-learn sessions created to teach the fundamentals of current curly hair care and styling using the latest professional techniques.
This class runs for two hours and is strictly capped at five participants, ensuring plenty of time for, discussion, and individual questions.
Children Attending Curly Cuts Classes Policy
Due to limited space in our specialised curly class environment, if a parent or guardian is to remain in the salon with you child during a class, an additional seat must also be booked and paid for the parent attending as well as the child .
This helps us manage seating, comfort, and the overall experience for all guests attending. Thank you for understanding and supporting our small specialised space at Curly Cuts Canberra.
What’s Included
During each session, we guide you step-by-step through the core principles of today’s curly routines, as taught through The Curly Cuts System, including:
Proper cleansing and conditioning for curly hair
How to incorporate water to create slip for effective product distribution
Correct product application techniques
Drying methods to maximise curl definition and longevity
How and when to use water to enhance curl performance
A full demonstration of wet brushing, including how to use the Bounce Brush correctly within a curly routine
All techniques are demonstrated on a live model, with each step explained in detail. You’ll learn not just what to do, but why each step matters, and how to apply these methods confidently at home or in a professional setting.

Cost: $120 per person
Looking for a private session? Please contact us at book@curlycuts.com.au to arrange a private group booking — ideal for interstate visitors, regional travellers, corporate groups, or friends booking together. Private sessions require a minimum of 5 participants or a minimum booking fee of $600.
Ticket, Refund & Transfer Policy – Curly Cuts System Events
Except where required by law (including the Australian Consumer Law), all tickets are non-refundable. Ticket purchase amounts will not be refunded if you choose not to attend the event, arrive late or fail to attend, or simply change your mind after purchase.
Ticket Transfers
If you are unable to attend, tickets may be transferred to another person where permitted by Curly Cuts. All transfer requests must be arranged in advance and are subject to approval.
Event Changes or Cancellation
If Curly Cuts cancels the event, or makes a significant change to the event (such as date, location, or format), you are entitled to a refund or alternative remedy in accordance with Australian Consumer Law. Minimum 3 people required to run a class, in the event of low numbers classes may be rescheduled or refunded.
Please note: Classes are for registered participants only. Due to limited space, additional attendees (including children) are not permitted.
Next Class will be held on 3/10/2026 at 1:30pm, with a meet and greet from 1.15pm for a 1.30pm start. Spaces are limited, so we recommend booking early.
