Professional Hair Advice & Tips
The Bergamot conditioner is a very light conditioner and is helpful if your scalp is greasy from hormonal changes or health issues, especially with teenagers.
Don’t mistake an oily scalp for a scalp that’s oily from other reasons that can be fixed just from changing your hair cleansing habits.
Rule out these 3 tips first –
1/ Washing the hair too often can produce more oil on the scalp because of over stimulation. You may need to retrain the scalp by shampooing every second day then every third. The scalp may also go through a transitional stage where it overproduces more oil then balances out.
2/ Are you layering the hair with silicone based products. E.g. hairsprays, shine sprays, leave in moisturisers, dry shampoo’s that have silicones in them that may be making your hair and scalp dirtier. Less is always more!! You may need to detox the hair. Look at every product you are putting on not just the shampoo.
3/Are you using a really strong sulphate based shampoo that may be over stimulating your scalp.

If you have bleached fine curly hair please pm for professional advice. You may need to add a stronger conditioner with the bergamot shampoo or try the light conditioner from Clever Curl with the bergamot shampoo
Fine hair curls may find it too heavy on the hair if you do not rinse out the conditioner.
Rinse thoroughly from the hair if you have very fine hair.
